Being a small business owner during the pandemic was incredibly challenging. The stress of running a business quickly became personal. When the business struggled, everything else did too—rent, bills, even everyday necessities.
Then in May of 2022, I lost my mother to cancer. That loss, combined with the constant pressure of trying to keep everything afloat, took a serious toll on my mental health. I was dealing with anxiety, depression, and the weight of it all at the same time.
For the first time in my life, I made a real effort to focus on my mental health—and that’s when I discovered ketamine therapy. I wasn’t just looking for something to help myself, but something that could help others who might be feeling the same way.
After spending countless hours researching and speaking with medical professionals, I came across a new approach to treating mental health: ketamine therapy. The problem was, there weren’t any reputable clinics offering this kind of care in my area.
So, I decided to create one.
With the right licensing, trained clinicians, and strict safety protocols, we built K Plus Clinics to be a place where people could feel safe, supported, and cared for—because that’s exactly what I was looking for myself.
After nearly a year of preparation, we opened our doors. And while I’m grateful for how this journey has helped me, what matters most is being able to help others take that same step forward—together.

As a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive training, Justin brings a unique perspective to mental health treatment at K Plus Clinic. Having served at Columbia University Medical Center and gained valuable experience in a Level 1 trauma center, Justin witnessed firsthand the profound impact of Ketamine in trauma settings. His exposure to the transformative effects of Ketamine fuels his passion for addressing mental health concerns and increasing public awareness. Committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Justin leverages his diverse background to ensure the well-being of our patients at K Plus Clinic.

Christian is a skilled CRNA, who possesses an immense passion for his work. He consistently offers top-notch care to his patients and is dedicated to delivering comprehensive healthcare by not only providing effective anesthesia management but also ensuring emotional wellbeing throughout the entire process. Christian’s dedication to excellence is further exemplified by his study on ketamine, where he explored its intricate aspects and published his findings. Chris “Dr. Chris” Turner, a valedictorian graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, opened Pain Free Chiropractic in 2016. Drawing from his experience, he brings a unique approach to K Plus Clinic, combining chiropractic care with mental health treatments like IV ketamine therapy. Dr. Chris aims not only to offer effective treatments but also to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, fostering open conversations and support. His holistic vision embraces a comprehensive approach to well-being, striving to integrate physical and mental health for a more balanced and fulfilling life. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Orlando’s culinary scene and fishing.
Nurse Assistant
Nadia is a student at the University of Central Florida completing her bachelor’s degree in Health Science Professions on the pre-clinical track. She has experience in emergency medicine triage as a medical technician and is a Florida-certified Nursing Assistant, with a strong background in patient care and clinical support in fast-paced settings. She values compassionate, patient-centered care and enjoys working in environments that challenge her to stay calm and adaptable. Outside of healthcare, Nadia enjoys baking and painting, and she stays actively involved on campus through leadership roles, including serving in a Public Relations position and as a student organization President.
Nurse Practitioner
Mendi is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 22 years of healthcare experience, including nearly nine years as a nurse practitioner. She earned her BSN from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her MSN from the University of Phoenix, later completing her Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree at South University.
Her experience spans integrated health, adult primary care, regenerative therapy, ketamine infusion therapy, and inpatient, outpatient, and residential psychiatric care. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, blending clinical expertise with innovative treatment modalities and meeting each individual where they are in their healing journey.
Nurse Assistant
Genesis is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant through the National Healthcare Association with experience working in urgent care. She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Health Sciences. Outside of work and school, she enjoys reading, spending time at Barnes & Noble with a good cup of coffee, and relaxing with her aunt and her two cats.
