Being a small business owner during the midst of a pandemic was no fun. All of your business stresses double as personal as well. Not being able to par your office rent turns into not being able to pay your home rent. Not being able to pay your employees turns into not being able to buy dinner. On top of that, in May of 2022, I lost my mother to cancer. Every day I felt the anxiety of keeping my business afloat, combined with the depression of losing the person in this world who loved me the most.
For the first time in my life, I really started to focus on my mental health, and that’s where my journey with ketamine therapy began. Not only was I looking for something to help myself, but something that could help others who felt the same way as I did. After hours of research and discussion with colleagues, I discovered this “new” way of fighting mental illness: psychedelic therapy. The only problem was that there weren’t any reputable clinics offering this therapy in my area. So, I decided to open a clinic of my own, with all of the proper licenses, trained clinicians, and safety protocols. I wanted to create a space where I personally felt comfortable and safe. Well, after almost a year of education and preparation, my partners and I have finally opened our clinic to the public. Not only do I look forward to finally being able to improve my mental health, I look forward to taking this journey with others who feel the same way, together.

As a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive training, Justin brings a unique perspective to mental health treatment at K Plus Clinic. Having served at Columbia University Medical Center and gained valuable experience in a Level 1 trauma center, Justin witnessed firsthand the profound impact of Ketamine in trauma settings. His exposure to the transformative effects of Ketamine fuels his passion for addressing mental health concerns and increasing public awareness. Committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Justin leverages his diverse background to ensure the well-being of our patients at K Plus Clinic.

Christian is a skilled CRNA, who possesses an immense passion for his work. He consistently offers top-notch care to his patients and is dedicated to delivering comprehensive healthcare by not only providing effective anesthesia management but also ensuring emotional wellbeing throughout the entire process. Christian’s dedication to excellence is further exemplified by his study on ketamine, where he explored its intricate aspects and published his findings. Amy is a dedicated Medical Assistant at K Plus Clinics, passionate about providing compassionate care to Ketamine therapy patients. With a Medical Assisting certification from Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology, Amy graduated with honors. Her commitment stems from a personal journey, having grown up in a family facing various health issues, which inspired her to make a meaningful impact in others’ lives. Outside of work, Amy enjoys family time, exploring new cuisines, and traveling, with a special love for her Dominican heritage. Her warm and empathetic approach helps create a welcoming environment for all patients.
Patient Intake Specialist
Chris “Dr. Chris” Turner, a valedictorian graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, opened Pain Free Chiropractic in 2016. Drawing from his experience, he brings a unique approach to K Plus Clinic, combining chiropractic care with mental health treatments like IV ketamine therapy. Dr. Chris aims not only to offer effective treatments but also to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, fostering open conversations and support. His holistic vision embraces a comprehensive approach to well-being, striving to integrate physical and mental health for a more balanced and fulfilling life. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Orlando’s culinary scene and fishing.

Julie is dedicated to empowering individuals through transformative practices rooted in her expertise as a yoga instructor and massage therapist. She integrates the profound mind-body-spirit connection into her work as an integration coach, guiding clients through transformative journeys and helping them apply insights to daily life with compassion and non-judgmental support. As a certified Entheogenic Integration Coach, Julie embodies an easy-going and compassionate approach. She supports individuals on their paths toward self-discovery, inner healing and profound connections with themselves and the world around them.
